The 32nd Youth Summit on the Renunciation of War was held in Okinawa, Japan, with youth and student delegates from Okinawa, Tokyo, Hiroshima, Nagasaki and the Kansai region. The participants visited the Okinawa World Peace Monument at the Soka Gakkai Okinawa Training Center in Onna Village and laid a wreath at the Peace Memorial Park in Itoman City. Ikeda Sensei sent a message emphasizing the importance of mobilizing the voices of civil society toward peace and encouraging youth to create momentum for a world without nuclear weapons.
